The Ampero II provides dual effect chains with support for multiple serial and parallel signal routing, and a USB port for firmware updates, charging, editing, effects management, and IR loading via free software for Mac and PC. It functions as an 8-in/8-out USB audio interface and includes USB audio for recording and playback. The device supports reamping and has storable AUX audio inputs. A 5-inch touch screen (800 × 480) offers instant control, with four assignable footswitches featuring halo LEDs and an integrated expression pedal. Connectivity includes line, XLR, headphone, and MIDI I/O, plus an integrated FX loop. Up to 12 effect modules can be used simultaneously, with a library exceeding 460 effects including newer algorithms, and 20 classic Celestion IRs. Supports up to 2048 IR sampling points for improved sound resolution. Features a branded scene function for smooth sound transitions, with each patch capable of storing up to four scenes. A stereo looper provides up to 60 seconds of recording time and a cancel/restore function, alongside 100 built-in drum rhythms. The Ampero II uses a digital triple-core platform and high-quality ESS Sabre-series AD/DA converters, employing CDCM HD and F.I.R.E. Modelling technologies, 24-bit signal processing, and a dynamic range of up to 127 dB.
